Busan International Photography Festival

Very pleased that my work was selected for the Busan International photography Festival @bipf_2025 @busan_photo_festival .  There are 3 large exhibitions as part of the festival across the city of Busan. The International Open Call is displayed on Youngdo @space__onez , a spectacular, large venue and right around my old stomping grounds, where I used to shoot my abstract works, back when I first arrived in Korea up until I moved back to Canada.

I was also very honoured to have my work featured as the main Banner image for the international open call, I was blown away seeing my image in such a large scale! The curation of the exhibition was quite well done, artists and photographers were painstakingly placed beside each other and in turn new  layers of storytelling emerged as you read the images from North to South and East to West.

And, as always, it was great to be back in my second home town, a place that holds so much meaning for me. This series is one I shot in Hong Kong called “Our Obsession with Sand“. The 9th  BIPF runs from September 24th-October 14, 2025.
