This was  a 4 hour lecture/seminar surrounding the idea of  ‘truth’ in contemporary photography tracing the roots of ‘truth’ back to the very beginnings of photography in the 19th century. It was presented by Scott McMaster for the undergraduate photo class ‘Light Based Media‘ with Kathleen Vaughn at Concordia University. Since then this talk has been presented in various forms at the NAEA, CSEA, IVLA and The Image national and international conferences.
