These are some shots from a recent short trip to Cuba, including the cities of Matanzas and Havana. Beautiful people, beautiful decay and restoration set in one of the more interesting and complex societies I’ve visited. I would relish the chance to return and more fully document the visual culture, devoid of advertising, before the tremendous changes that are likely to sweep the nation in the near future.
